The hotel's location is excellent, right by the train stop which is convenient for going down to the waterfront or exploring the city. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, exceeding our expectations with a separate bedroom and basic amenities like a fridge and microwave. The staff were courteous and quick to respond to our needs, as seen by the maintenance man coming promptly to address the AC issue mentioned in another review.
our stay at this hotel was enjoyable and we didn't encounter any major issues.

Efficient outlay, well appointed rooms, bottled water.
Business center has poor printing facilities. There isn't a safe in the room. Frequent lineups at front desk. Breakfeast rather mediocre (did not have breakfeast there).

I greatly appreciated Mike at the reception, who was courteous, friendly and had a personal touch, treating people as individuals not as generic "guests" or "passers-by". He is an asset to the hotel. The housekeeping staff were discreet, helpful and very efficient. A special thanks to Van (worked on 6th floor on Sat. July 24. The breakfast was good. Providing bottled water to guests is a touching and welcome gesture.

The rooms good-sized, huge with bath towels and bathroom, as for instance. Location next to multiple bar/restaurants, the the theater district and lots of pubs, and downtown.

The hotel is in the heart of the city and if you drive they also give you a free parking pass to park in the parking garage about 2 streets over and the subway was right in front of the hotel that goes all down Main Street. The room was very nice also! Definitely a good spot to stay if you're visiting Downtown Buffalo!
I wouldn't necessarily say it is a bad thing, but they placed a $260 deposit hold on my credit card for about 3 days. You do sign a piece of paper upon check-in, but I don't think it said how much it would be for. Just be aware when booking this hotel.

With its downtown location, you'll also be within walking distance to Shea's theater and some local bars. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with amenities like a fridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. The bathroom is well-equipped with Watkins shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner, as well as makeup remover towlettes. The service is friendly and the breakfast selection is good.
The parking situation may be inconvenient, as it requires a short walk to an off-site parking garage.
